Overview

For training to be successful, not only does the instructional design need to be sound, but the trainer delivering that instruction needs to be able to explain content clearly and facilitate learners' experiences in the classroom.  In 2-3 days, participants learn professional techniques for delivering training that is engaging, well paced, and memorable for participants.

 

Skills learned

All trainers have slightly different styles, strengths and weaknesses. Regardless of a participant’s particular style, this workshop will give them the fundamental skills they need to deliver classroom training.

  • Engaging and motivating learners
  • Instructor preparation
  • Classroom management skills
  • Presentation techniques
  • Working with classroom audio/visuals
  • Facilitating and debriefing games, activities and exercises
  • Assessing and adjusting to your students' progress and learning rate

Delivery Options

Option 1: In-house, classroom training

At a time and location convenient for your team, PTA will provide a Certified instructor to deliver this 2-3 day course to groups of 8 to 20. PTA supplies the instructor, all course materials and software. All you need to do is select a date and supply a suitable training room.  Please contact PTA for scheduling and pricing information.

Option 2: Instructor Certification Program

Organizations with broad demand for this course may elect to certify their own instructor(s) to deliver it internally.
